Tour And Travel

Tirth Hospitality

A B2B platform that helps travel agencies plan and book complete North India journeys

Key outcomes

  • Delivered a working B2B booking platform, with scope and goals agreed before the build began
  • Brought hotels, transport, sightseeing, and ground support into one reliable place for agencies
  • Kept each release steady and predictable through close coordination across a small team

The problem

Travel agencies selling North India trips depend on someone reliable on the ground: hotels that are as good as promised, transport that turns up, and a team that answers the moment a client’s plan changes mid-trip. Tirth Hospitality wanted a B2B platform that let travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate travel teams put together and book complete North India journeys with that trust built in, rather than juggling phone calls and spreadsheets for every booking.

What I did

  • Ran the whole project, from working out what agencies actually needed, to planning the work, testing it with the client, releasing it, and keeping everyone informed along the way.
  • Split the work sensibly across a small team of five, with a Laravel back end handling partners, packages, pricing, and bookings, and a Next.js front end giving agencies a fast, clear way to browse destinations and book.
  • Kept the destination, hotel, and transport information organised and dependable, so agencies could trust what they saw on screen was what their clients would actually get.

Why it was tricky

Travel booking has a lot of moving parts. Hotels, transport, sightseeing, and ground support all connect, and a change to one can quietly affect the price or the plan of another. Keeping that consistent, and honest about what was really available, was the difference between agencies trusting the platform and going back to the old way of doing things.

How it turned out

The platform is live at tirthhospitality.com, connecting travel partners with 20+ destinations and 500+ hotel partners across North India. Agencies get one reliable place for hotels, transport, sightseeing, and complete ground handling, with end-to-end support they can count on from the first enquiry to the end of the trip.

Risk and issue log

How I tracked the risks and dependencies on a travel platform where the plan, the price and the ground support all had to stay in step.

ID Type Item Impact Owner Status and response
R1 Risk Hotels, transport and sightseeing all connect, so a change to one can affect the price or the plan of another. High Project Manager and development lead Managed. The dependencies were mapped and each change was reviewed before release.
R2 Risk What agencies see on screen must match what their clients actually get on the trip. High Development and content teams Managed. Availability and details were kept current and checked before each release.
D1 Dependency The hotel and transport partner information must be in place before the booking process can be trusted. High Content and development teams Tracked. Partner details were confirmed and loaded ahead of each release.
A1 Assumption Agencies plan and book through their own accounts rather than one shared login. Medium Product team Confirmed with the client before the work began.
