Shiv Prakrutik Farm
A brand website for a family-run natural farm, built to earn the trust of every family it feeds
Key outcomes
- Delivered a clear, trustworthy brand website, with the goals agreed before the build began
- Told the farm's natural, chemical-free story plainly and pointed every visitor to phone, WhatsApp, or a farm visit
- Built it bilingual, in Gujarati and English, so it speaks to the families the farm actually feeds
The problem
Shiv Prakrutik Farm is a family-run farm in Village Valli, Tarapur, near Anand in Gujarat, growing vegetables without any synthetic chemicals and making its own natural inputs like jeevamrut and beejamrut. Its whole promise, “Pure. Natural. Chemical Free. From our soil to your family,” rests on trust, and trust is hard to earn on a website. They needed a site that could explain how the food is really grown, show what is in season, and make it easy for a nearby family to pick up the phone, message on WhatsApp, or come and see the farm for themselves.
What I did
- Ran the whole project, from agreeing what the site needed to prove, to planning the work, reviewing each section with the family, and keeping a small team moving to one plan.
- Kept the focus on trust and transparency, so the story of chemical-free, living-soil farming, the produce, and the natural inputs all pointed back to a simple invitation: get in touch or come and see how the food is grown.
- Built it bilingual, in Gujarati and English, with a modern Next.js front end, so the site speaks naturally to local families while staying fast and simple to look after.
Why it was tricky
A farm’s claim to be chemical-free is easy to say and hard to believe. The site had to earn that belief with plain, honest explanation rather than marketing gloss, and it had to do so in two languages without feeling like two different sites. Getting the tone right, warm, genuine, and clearly the family’s own voice, mattered more than anything flashy.
How it turned out
The site is live at shivprakrutikfarm.com, a calm, honest brand site that tells the farm’s natural-farming story, shows the seasonal produce and natural inputs, and makes it easy for families to reach the farm by phone, WhatsApp, or a visit, in Gujarati or English.

A record of the main choices made while building the website, and the reasons behind them.
| Decision | Options considered | Choice | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|
| What language the site speaks | English only, or Gujarati and English | Bilingual, in Gujarati and English | It speaks to the local families the farm actually feeds |
| How to show the food is chemical free | Marketing claims, or plain explanation and an open invitation | Explain the natural method plainly and invite people to visit the farm | Clean by nature and not by claim, so trust is earned rather than stated |
| What the page asks visitors to do | Many options, or a few clear actions | Call, message on WhatsApp, or come and see the farm | Local families reach out simply, in the way that suits them |
| How to show the produce | A fixed catalogue, or seasonal availability | Show what is in season, honestly | The farm grows with the seasons, so the site should say so |
