Leapwise Advisory preview

Consulting

Leapwise Advisory

A performance advisory practice for public sector leaders

Key outcomes

  • Delivered the product on schedule, with the goals clearly agreed at the start
  • Reduced repeated work by making sure everyone agreed on the direction early
  • Kept outside partners and internal teams working to a single, clear plan

The problem

Leapwise works with senior people whose decisions reach a great many others, and its platform had to reflect that seriousness. It needed to present the practice with confidence and, just as importantly, turn performance information into reports that a busy leader could take in and act on quickly.

What I did

  • Turned the practice’s way of working into a plan the development team could follow, with close attention to how the reporting should feel to the person reading it.
  • Gave the Power BI reporting real care, so the figures told a clear story rather than simply filling a page.
  • Kept the front of the site and the Laravel service moving together, and checked the work against the practice’s standards as it went.
  • Kept the client close at every stage, since their confidence in the presentation mattered as much as the features themselves.

Why it was tricky

This audience judges quickly and expects polish. Everything, from the way a page reads to the way a report is laid out, had to feel considered and dependable, and there was little room for anything rough or unclear.

How it turned out

The platform was delivered and is live at leapwiseadvisory.com, where it supports the practice as it works with public sector teams and national leaders on performance and strategic decisions.
