Glenowra Australian White Sheep Stud
A stud breeding Australian White sheep for quality meat
Key outcomes
- Delivered the website on schedule for the client in Australia
- Kept the work focused and the result simple and easy to look after
- Coordinated the work smoothly across different time zones
The problem
Glenowra breeds a specialist sheep for buyers who care a great deal about quality, and its website had to earn that audience’s trust. It needed to tell the story of the breed and the breeding programme plainly, show the auctions, and make it easy for a serious buyer to get in touch.
What I did
- Planned how the site should be arranged, so a visitor could move from the story of the breed to the breeding programme and the auctions without getting lost.
- Guided the WordPress build and kept the content tidy and well ordered as it came together.
- Made the enquiry and auction details easy to find and simple to act on, since a missed enquiry is a missed sale.
- Kept the owner involved throughout, as the site had to sound like the people behind the stud.
Why it was tricky
This was a small site with a demanding audience. Everything had to feel professional and genuine, because buyers of specialist livestock judge quickly and expect substance. Saying a great deal in a simple and honest way was the heart of the work.
How it turned out
The website was delivered and is live at glenowraaustralianwhitesheep.com.au, where it presents the stud, its breeding programme, and its auctions, and gives interested buyers a simple way to make contact.
